Hey guys - if you've been following you've seen me grow my list from 0 subscribers to 43 (what the picture posted below shows and now my new number.
You don't know my new number, and that's because I haven't showed it yet. Well, after the two weeks of driving traffic as best as I could I have a whole 73 subscriptions. NOW, before you jump to conclusions and day that 73 subs is nothing, it's a lot to me. You know why? Because I had 0 before that!
But, if you don't know yet, no entrepreneur has smooth sailing all the way to the top. There is always bumps in the road, and that's where I'm kind of at right now. I can keep pouring subs in, but will the be the type of people I want on my list?
I have been following up with my list to the degree at which is recommended, but will they open and click through? These aren't things you really think about when building an email list. "The money is in the list" they say, but of course it's never that simple otherwise everyone and their mom would do it, right?
Now comes the part where I need to test. Try, try, try again until I see what works. Where do I get the best clicks, how do I get the best optins, how do I get people to actually buy? These are all things that need to be taken into consideration.
It's hard because you hear everyone say one thing, but then you work hard at it and experience another - and this is all one part that we all forget about entrepreneurs (it's even something that has slipped my mind.
You can't give up. This freaking sucks that I'm not making no where near the amount of money I had anticipated. Granted, I have just under 100 subs, but shouldn't I be able to draw at least ONE sale from this group of people/followers?
Don't worry though - I am patient and have the determination of the little engine who could! NOTHING comes out perfect right away! And if it does, you got lucky! I will continue this uphill batter and take you every step to the top! Until then, buckle up because this is where the ride gets rough!
